Langhe region

The Langhe hills are located in the southern part of the Piedmont region, between the Maritime Alps and the Apennines of the Italian Riviera.

The name 'Langhe' means 'headlands' and describes the shape of these elongated, steep hills that run parallel to each other and are separated by high, narrow valleys.

The Langhe region is one of the most generous in the world for the quantity and quality of wines produced.
